The Royal George, Birdlip

The Hotel is licensed to perform Civil Weddings and we would be delighted to host your entire day, from the Ceremony through to the Wedding Breakfast and Evening Reception.

We can tailor the perfect wedding to suit you, including full reception facilities in one of our two function suites:

The Hanover Suite:
An elegant room on the first floor of the Hotel can cater for up to 80 guests, for a formal Wedding Breakfast and 120 guests for an evening reception.

The Gainsborough Suite:
A charming chapel style stone built annexe which can cater for up to 30 guests for a formal wedding breakfast and 40 guests for an evening reception.

Free Standing Marquee:
With such a large expanse of garden on our doorstep, we are also delighted to arrange and cater for parties of 200 or more all year round in a beautifully decorated heated marquee with covered walkways available for all weather conditions.

There is a newly built gazebo erected in the grounds offering an ideal photo shoot opportunity
